Legal information about the operator of bimi.tv and its associated services, in accordance with art. 10 of Spanish Law 34/2002 on information society services and electronic commerce (LSSI-CE).
This legal notice governs access to and use of the following services operated by UMAI MEDIA S.L. (hereinafter "UMAI" or "BIMI.TV"):
BIMI.TV is a professional video hosting, processing and distribution platform. It allows video to be uploaded, stored, transcoded, organised, embedded, measured and monetised from a web panel and an API. The service is provided to businesses and professionals; it is not aimed at consumers or at minors.
Use of the platform requires a service agreement. The terms of that agreement apply alongside this notice and, where they conflict, prevail over it.
Access to the panel requires an account created by an administrator: there is no public sign-up. Each user is responsible for keeping their credentials confidential and for activity carried out under their account, and must tell us promptly about any unauthorised use they detect.
Users undertake to use the platform in good faith and in accordance with applicable law. The following are prohibited in particular:
Video, images, text and metadata a client uploads remain the property of that client or its licensors. The client is solely responsible for holding the necessary rights over that content and for the lawfulness of its publication, including obtaining the consent of people appearing in recordings where the law requires it.
UMAI acts as a hosting provider within the meaning of art. 16 LSSI: it does not pre-screen hosted content, and it removes or blocks access to content once it has actual knowledge that the content is unlawful.
The design, source code, logos, trademarks, text and other elements of the site and the platform are the property of UMAI MEDIA S.L. or its licensors and are protected by intellectual and industrial property law. Reproduction in whole or in part without express written authorisation is prohibited.
The service agreement grants the client a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the platform, limited to the term of the agreement and to the purposes set out in it. It transfers no ownership.
If you believe content hosted on BIMI.TV infringes your rights, write to [email protected]. So that we can act diligently, your notice should include:
We review every notice and, where we find the content unlawful, remove it or block access to it, informing the client who published it so that they may object. Manifestly unfounded or abusive notices may be dismissed.
UMAI does not warrant uninterrupted or entirely error-free availability, and may suspend the service temporarily for maintenance. To the extent permitted by law, it is not liable for damages arising from interruptions, malware, misuse by users, content published by clients, or third-party sites linked from our pages. None of the above limits liability that the law does not permit to be excluded.
Clients should keep their own copies of the original material they upload. The service is not a substitute for a backup system.
UMAI may suspend or terminate access for an account that breaches these terms or the service agreement, with prior notice wherever possible and immediately where there is a risk to security, to third parties or to the infrastructure itself. After the agreement ends, hosted content may be deleted in line with the agreed periods.
The site may contain links to external pages. We accept no responsibility for their content or their privacy practices.
The processing of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy and our Cookie Policy.
This legal notice is governed by Spanish law. Any dispute will be submitted to the Courts and Tribunals of Madrid, unless a mandatory rule provides for a different forum.
